At the end of 2013, Achilles CT had 39 registered athletes and 86 active guides/volunteers. Here is an overview of 2014 by numbers:

# of new guides/volunteers: 112 (Fairfield-20, Shoreline West-4, Shoreline East-6, New Haven-12-, Hartford/East-14, Hartford West-52, Western CT-4) Total guides/volunteers in the CT Chapter=198
# of races: 21 in CT; 2 in NYC (Achilles Hope & Possibility and The TCS NYC Marathon) Total races=23
# of regions holding workouts: 4 (Shoreline West, Shoreline East, New Haven, Hartford/West)
# of corporate donations received: 6 (HJ Hoffman Co., Half Full Brewery, Gaylord Hospital, ESPN/Disney Ears To You Fund, Lincoln Financial Foundation, The McKeen Law Firm)
# of grants received: 3 (New Balance, The Gibney Family Foundation, The Salmon Foundation)
# of Cigna Healthy Lifestyles Grants Received: 3 Cigna employees submitted for a total of 28 races this year! Thank you Michael Lo Presti-19, Jeremy Byrne-6 and Jeff Amell-3!
