Someone forgot to tell Mother Nature that it was the first day of spring as she dusted course with several inches of freshly falling snow at the start of this year’s Naugatuck Road Race.

• Chris Romeo made his Achilles Guide debut running with Tracy Andrews along the 10K course.
• Jon Romeo teamed with David Alejandro for a 10K run.
• Rosa Cascudo braved the elements with new Achilles Guide Gary Griffin along the 5K course.

The group enjoyed delicious corned beef  sandwiches and a few cold beverages at the finish line with athletes and spectators from around the Central Connecticut region.
