 ACHILLES NIGHT AT THOMAS HOOKER BREWERY (Bloomfield) Saturday April 16th 6-9pm
*Back by popular demand!  This is our first major fundraiser of the season!  

ION BANK CHESHIRE HALF MARATHON OR 5K (Cheshire) Sunday, April 24th
The Achilles CT Chapter will pay for athletes’ registration.  Guides will receive complimentary registration from the race director.
*Note:  Per the race director, wheelchair/hand cycle athletes will be given a 30 second head start this year.  We will work more closely with race organizers to ensure an accessible bathroom and have streamlined divisions/awards with the race organizers.

IRON HORSE HALF MARATHON, 10K OR 5K (Simsbury) Sunday, June 5th
The Achilles CT Chapter will pay for athletes’ registration.  Guides will receive complimentary registration from the race director.

HALF FULL BREWERY HOP, SKIP & A RUN 5K (Stamford) Date in June TBD
*Achilles members receive complimentary registration and 1 free post-race beer ticket.  The course is partially paved and the other contains packed gravel around a park.

ACHILLES CONNECTICUT HOPE & POSSIBLITY 10K, 5K, Fitness Walk & Kids Fun Run (Bloomfield) Sunday, August 21st
*As this race is a major fundraiser for our Achilles CT Chapter, we are asking those who can pay to register on their own.  If cost is a barrier to participate, please follow the financial aid request process as outlined in the athlete handbook.

EVERSOURCE HARTFORD MARATHON, HALF MARATHON, OR 5K   Saturday, October 8th
The Achilles CT Chapter will pay for athletes’ registration.  Guides will receive complimentary registration from the race director.

MCKEEN LAW RACE TO FILL THE PANTRY 5K/2-MILE WALK (Glastonbury) Sunday, November 8th
*Registration is generously sponsored by the Glastonbury River Runners, The McKeen Law Firm, and the Achilles CT Chapter

Due to budgetary constraints, the CT Chapter cannot commit to pay race registrations for the other CT events listed as potential races in the athlete survey (CT Fastrak, Shamrock Duathlon, Mystic Half/10K, Griskus Tri, Gaylord Gauntlet, Fairfield Half/5K, Achilles NYC H&P. If you plan to participate in these events, registration is at your own expense (see the athlete handbook for more information).  If you need financial assistance please use the funding request form found in the athlete handbook.  We are actively fundraising and seeking sponsors so that we can add more races in the future.
